Bethany discovered her passion for Human Resources while pursuing her MBA at Xavier University. Specifically, when she had the opportunity to collaborate with a new start-up that had secured an abandoned building in downtown Cincinnati with a dream of providing employment opportunities to previously incarcerated individuals. The experience highlighted the transformative power of entrepreneurship in not only fostering individual independence but also in positively impacting lives and revitalizing communities. Recognizing the importance of a strong workforce, Bethany realized she was meant to support organizations through prioritizing the well-being of their people.

Bethany's corporate experience has coincidentally been largely focused on real estate development in Columbus, Ohio, as she quickly grew from HR Manager to VP of Human Resources for a prominent developer, building their foundational HR while their workforce nearly doubled in the span of two years. As Bethany and her husband, Kyle, grew their family, she began offering fractional HR services for small businesses who have not had the advantage of a dedicated HR leader on staff. She approaches new businesses with a fair assessment of the company's employer brand so that through partnership with the decision-makers, she can strategize and advise on how to mitigate risk, build a competitive edge, and effectively invest in the employees to ensure a positive return on the individual.
